Ooh Scary!

Me and Jade went shopping in southampton yesterday, and when we went back to the train station, we arrived at the same time as about 2000 portsmouth fans, who had just lost a match, and about 400 policemen. It was very scary and we even had to stand with a woman that worked at the train station while the police got them all onto the trains without them starting a massive fight. For some reason I had a huge urge to shout 'I hate football!!!'. That probably wouldn't have been such a good idea though... I would have probably been beaten up or something... Jade would too, she's a Man U fan. hehe

Work Work Work

I don't really know how it's happened, but for some reason, I'm getting behind in my work. I suppose I didn't really do much work other than revision while I had my exams, but last year I managed to stay on top of all of my IT coursework when everyone else was far behind, but at the moment, I can't even seem to find where to begin with half of it. I think I'm gonna go see my teacher tomorrow so I can sit down with him and he can help me sort through what I need to do. It's so annoying, with all other coursework, you can sit down, write it and then hand it in, but IT goes on for the whole year so you never get a break from it. I was quite far behind on my independent french work too, but thanks to some inspiration from Jade (all she ever seems to do is work!) I've managed to sit down for ages and work through the horrible, boredom filled book that is my wonderful french homework. Oh joy. At least I've managed to write my french coursework plan already, which means I should be able to start writing this weekend after my teacher checks it out tomorrow, so at least I'm ahead of most of my class there! Yippee, don't I lead an interesting life??!! I'm so bored of everything that I even talk about my work in my blog... hmmm maybe I should go now.

Last Night

Went out for a meal last night for Jade's birthday. It was great - very, very funny! I love you guys! It was burns night too so there were random people wearing kilts and playing bagpipes - I'm sure Amy felt right at home!! Hahahaha!!

Ooh!

I went shopping in Winchester this afternoon, and went into HMV with Ally. There was a guy that worked there and he was, how shall I put it, beautiful. Just beautiful. And Australian, which makes it ten times better.

I think my IT exam went fine. I'll jsut have to wait until march to find out what grade I got!

Hmmm. somehow I've managed to cut my finger... blowing up a balloon!!! Only I could do that to myself!

Weekend Update

This weekend, like all other weekends in history, went far too quickly. I didn't exactly do a lot (apart from eat a very nice, free meal today mmmmm and go shopping) but it would have been nice for me to be able to sleep a bit more.... Ahhhhh, the joy of sleep. There are many things that I'm thankful for, with sleep being quite near the top. Beautiful.

I had a bit of an accident this morning. Well, it was my sister's fault, but nevermind. I stood up and was about to walk away from the chair where I'd been sat, when she leaned on me from behind. I wasn't expecting it so kind of fell forward slightly, but caught my foot behind the chair leg and fell on the floor, with her on top of me. It was absolutely hilarious but also quite embarrassing because there were quite a lot of people around. I have a very silly family...

I have another exam in the morning which I'm not particularly excited about, but I think it should be ok. We'll just have to see how it goes.

It's Jade's birthday on Tuesday and we're going out for a meal. I'm quite looking forward to it. Me and Jade also have an exciting plan for next weekend, but I'll talk about that later. I can tell you now though, I will be very surprised if I'm not sick afterwards. Hehehe

New Geek Quiz - Due To Popular Demand!

I decided the other geek quiz was a bit sucky, and very inaccurate, so I've found another one. Here's what I got:

The Simple Geek
You answered 44% of the questions as a geek truly would.

You don't seem to sway in either direction, however you still seem to have some latent geek attributes within you. Maybe you're interested in computers but not a gamer? Maybe you've got geek hobbies but none of the awkward social tendencies. You may be slightly geekier than you thought and in denial!
The simple geek usually has various quirks that friends may make fun of, but in general can be considered a fairly normal person. Your geek attributes make you less likely to conform to society. The popular kids don't hate you but the geeks don't either, so it's a respectable demographic.
In a nutshell, you answered enough questions with geek tendencies and enough questions without geek tendencies that it's difficult to pinpoint your exact alignment
Hmmm... 44% is a bit geeky, isn't it?

What's with the fish?

I live in a house with 47 other people. We're all noisy and messy, and all the guys are generally smelly. But today, someone has gone too far! They obvioulsy thought it would be a good idea to have fish for tea. Not only does the kitchen, the hallway and the common room smell, but outside and upstairs does too! I tried to hold my breath and run upstairs into here where it doesn't really smell, but I didn't do too well. I breathed it all in and then nearly threw up everywhere. Fish is possibly the worst smell in the world. I can cope with fish fingers or a tuna sandwich, but anything else is too much.

NOOOO SOMEONE JUST OPENED THE DOOR AND NOW IT SMELLS ABSOLUTELY DIIIIIIIIIISSSSGUUUUSSSTING!!!!!

I know this may seem extreme, but I'd rather stand and smell a dogs bum for 6 hours than breathe in a tiny bit of that fish stench. You can't understand how bad it is without being here! Ew ew ew gross! I've never smelt it this strong before, it's so wierd...

Well this really has been a great day. I did my General Studies exam this after noon and it was the most boring thing I have ever done in my life. I've never wanted to die in an exam before, but that really was horrible. So, I've gone from the most boring exam ever to the smelliest house ever. Nice.

If I never post on here again, it's because I've died from inhaling too much fish. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.

What Disney Princess Are You?

I'm Pocahantas!

Free-spirited and wise. You have a strong passionate spirit that touches and changes all who know you. The wisdom and common sense that you have is really what guides you through life. Even so, you also have a very playful side that loves adventure and excitement.

Which Disney Princess Are You?

My Wonderful Friends

I was just pondering on what to write on my blog, and my friend Jess said I should write about how wonderful her and Ally are, so, here goes...

I met them at college last year because we are living in the same house. I got to know them well pretty quickly, I suppose that's enevitable seeing as I shared a room with Ally! Well, I would just like to say that, along with Jade, Amy, Tom, Simon, Christian, Hughz, Michael, Alex etc etc, my time at college has been wonderful! Of course I was very said to leave everyone (especially Christiana) at wgs and alc, but I'm very glad that I met everyone here because I love them all!! Ooh I'm feeling all, oh, I don't know, 'lovely' inside! How beautiful! OK, I'll stop now...

I'll be so sad when I leave!! (At least I'll still have Jess and JAde wont be too far away either.

Ok, I take that back. Ally just turned and said to me:
'If you cut your hair, you'll look like this'

Now she's said 'The similarity is striking Beaky! At least you don't look like this' *shows me a picture of an ugly, scary man, kissing Peter Doherty from the Libertines*

I don't think I like her anymore. At all. I'm heartbroken. I'm going to go to my room and sob for hours. And eat chocolate.

Geek Test

I just did a test on http://www.thudfactor.com/geekquiz.php

Apparently I'm 16% geek, which I think is pretty good! It said:

OK, so maybe you ain't a geek. You do, at least, show a bit of interest in the world around you. Either that, or you have enough of a sense of humor to pick some of the sillier answers on the test. Regardless, you're probably a pretty nifty, well-rounded person who gets along fine with people and can chat with just about anyone without fear of looking stupid or foolish or overly concerned with minutiae. God, I hate you.

Err, OK! It had a picture of Drew Barrymore which was quite random...

Wow

I know everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but WOW the other girl that's in this computer room with me is listening to the WORST music I have ever heard in my life. It took me about 5 minutes to decide what catagory it fitted into. I think I've decided it's a mix between dance and trance, but it's not the usual stuff like what you hear on tv. I don't like that type of music anyway, but normally I can see why peoplemight be attracted to listening to it, but this - IT'S SOOOOO BAD!!!

Oh dear, she's tapping along to the beat now. Please, save me from this!I think my ears are going to bleed! I can't ask her to turn it off either, because I listen to my music in here sometime. I think I'm going to go insane...

Another blog to read...

My sister Gemma has got a blog now, which means there's only Sarah still to enter the world of blogging. I think Steven's is the best by far, purely because he put loads on there all the time and it's funny. Hopefully, I'm gonna keep on improving mine and we'll have to see how Gemma's turns out too. How exciting!

Bring on tomorrow

I have my IT exam tomorrow afternoon, and I'm still hoping that it's going to be ok. I'm not going to do too much revision tonight though, because I know I'll just end up getting annoyed with it. So I'll just go over some notes before I go to bed and then again after my general studies exam in the morning. I'm quite nervous about it. I think that's because I'm terrified of doing badly in it and having to do it all over again in the summer. I already know I'm going to have another IT, a Business and about 6 hours worth of French exams - I really don't want to have to add on another 3 hours of boring AS IT.

I'm still learning lots about editing my template on this blog. Hopefully I'll keep on making it look better as time goes on. The only problem is, because I'm using a college computer to do all of this, I can't do some things like put on pictures etc. The stupid thing wont let me!

Yay! My blog looks beautiful!

I really didn't like my blog being green so I've just been sat for absolutely ages trying to figure out how to change it. And now, it's blue!! There's still a few things I need to change like the colour of the links at the side and stuff, but I'll do that another time. I'm quite proud of myself - understanding that html stuff is really difficult! But now, cos I kept checking that the colours that I put in matched, it looks like I've had about 30 more visitors than I should have. That's quite annoying. In order to help me get over the stresses of giving my blog a makeover I'm going to go and eat some chocolate. I may be some time.

It's awesome

If you haven't already, then I suggest that you set up a radio station on yahoo launch. Basically you rate a load of stuff that you like and then it learns your favourite kind of stuff and then plays whtever is similar. I think it's great, I listen to my station all the time. I think everyone should have one!

It's close to exams now!

My first exam is on Thursday. I have General Studies in the morning and then my IT resit in the afternoon. Not looking forward to it at all. I was revising earlier and think that one of the papers will be ok, but I'm finding the second one quite difficult and am actually quite worried about it. I've done 2 past papers today - one was appauling and the other was ok(ish). But it's not good enough. I really hope I do ok overall though or all of this will have been a complete waste of time. I suppose I just need to keep on reading over my notes to make sure I remember and understand thing and then keep doing some more past papers to get me used to the types of questions. Oh, and apparently the guy that wrote our exam paper for last summer has been fired. I wonder why... not a single person in my college that sat that exam got an A. Even people like me that got an A in our coursework got a C overall because the papers were so bad. I think I got a C and an E in them. That's officially the worst I have ever done in an exam. You wouldn't think I did so well in my GCSEs, would you? Hmmm. Revising for IT is so horrible, it's the most boring thing in the world.

But, there's good news too! I got a B in my business mock. Ok, so it was only just a B, but I've still got 2 weeks until my exam so I can do loads of revision. Fingers crossed I'll do well in the real one!!

I think I better go and learn some more boring stuff now...

What's wrong with the world???

During the holiday I watched a program with my mum on New Years Day called Tom Brown's School Days. I really liked it so I just looked it up on the Internet and the only sites I could find was full of stupid messages from silly little girls saying how they were in love with the guy that played Tom Brown (who is a new actor called Alex Pettyfer). Ok, so he's quite good looking (one problem: he's 14 years old) but there is no need for all this nonsense. If there's one thing that annoys me more than Graham Bradshaw, it's screaming 13 year old girls. Ooh they get on my nerves!

Thanks Graham!

Once again my IT teacher/houseparent Graham has managed to annoy me. This time it was by giving us all a surprise mock in our lesson this afternoon. Generally, I'm nice to people, but there's always someone that you secretly want to kill. Everyone has someone they'd happily smack across the face on a daily basis, and mine goes by the name of Graham Bradshaw. He is the most irritating and rediculous person in the world. I'm not joking. He's worse that Mrs 'I'm an evil, and very fat, spanish teacher' Bruce. Aaarrggghhh!!!!! What's his problem? You'd think he'd realise that he's a complete loser and sort himself out, but NO! Oooh now I'm angry.

Life in the Madhouse

I've had my second day back at college, and I don't think I've done anything apart from revision. So, as I am the Queen of laziness, i've decided to have another break (I just had a 2 week holiday over Christmas). I can tell that by the time it gets to the end of this month I'm going to be ready to kill someone. I've got all of my exams so am revising for those, am also very far behind schedule for my IT coursework and have to start ANOTHER piece of french coursework. And can I be bothered with any of it? No. Oh yes, and I have a business mock on Friday. Oh the joy of being me! I know it's a little selfish saying that my life is bad when thousands of people just died, millions of people just became homeless and about 70% of the British population probably have more work to do than me, but hey! I'm still allowed to complain if I want!

When I get bored of msn I think I'll go and do some more work... but that might be a while. Hmmm. Actually, I think I'll laze around this evening and stay up doing it tonight. I have a 10.40 start tomorrow so it's not like i need to get up. Yes. That's a good plan. Ok, now I really do feel like I'm talking to myself... I'll stop.

p.s. I apologise to Jack for saying that all of the lower 6th suck. It's not all of them, just about 99%. Haha, no I'm just kidding. I like you all! I think I was in a mood when I wrote that.

Back in prison today

Well, the end has come to my christmas holiday and I am now sat back in Falkland Lodge, already bored out of my brain. I got here at about 2pm and have unpacked and even done some revision, but I got bored of that so I decided to come on the Internet. I normally want to go back to college, but this is the first time that I've actually not wanted to come. I have exams soon and I really don't want to do them. Please, somebody, kill me now!!
