The most fun I've had in a loooong time!!

Well, I did so much this weekend compared to what I normally do that I don't know where to start!!

Tom came on Friday which was cool but I didn't get to talk to him that much but we played loads of football and stuff on Saturday in the sunshine which was fun. It's so annoying, somehow he can tell what I think about things before I even say it. I didn't realise he knew me that well!! Out of all the things that we said, he only got one wrong. It was quite annoying having to admit that he was right which made it worse!! But on Saturday night I stayed at my sisters and we ate pizza and played loads of games with everyone and made ice cream sundae thingys which was lots of fun. Sunday was even better though because we had a bbq (surprise surprise Graham bought far too much stuff. I suppose more is better than less though. hmm) and Kelly and Pikey came too! It was so much fun. We just chatted during the day and went bowling in the evening with Jack, Rob, Greg, Kayleigh and Belinda. I haven't had that much fun in a long time! I scored 96 which wasn't too bad, we took some photos, tom cut his finger and kept throwing the plaster down the lane whenever he bowled, Jack stole the bowling shoes, Pikey, Tom, Greg and Belinda went on the dance machines (you all know the ones with the arrows that you have to jump on) and the guys had quite a few shots and then proceeded to dance in the street (obviously Pikey attempted his break dancing!) and when we were on the bus they pinged the stop button on the bus about 50 times. It was so embarrassing. We then came back we finished off the evening at the Jolly. It was so nice, but it made me realise how much I miss all those guys! Overall it was a great weekend! I think they're coming back during the week too, yay!

I also got in trouble for what I said about Tom a while ago when I wrote about all of my college friends so I'll write some more about him. Here what I wrote last time (personally, I think it's quite nice, because he really can't deny that he's disgusting!!! hehe):

Tom: Very lazy, but also brilliant at the same time. He was also disgusting, but nevermind. He used to always wear a cap and drink the milkshakes from the canteen. He is a vegetarian and supports Wolves. He has the coolest last name ever (silvani) but also lives in the most boring place ever (detmold) and next to the brooks!!! HAHAHA. We always manage to disagree on something, but I don't care because he still makes me smile. He needs a haircut and a shave and most probably a shower. He's great though!!

Ok, here's what I really think of Tom. You know Tom, this is only really for your benefit, because everyone else probably doesn't care...

Right, well I can't take back what I said about him being disgusting, because it's true, and he knows it. And it was also true about him needing a haircut, but the beard isn't too bad though (just as long as he doesn't start eating it like Christian used to or brushing it with a fork like the other day. Ew). Oh, I don't really know what else to say about him other than I think he's great, he always make me laugh and he's one of my best friends and probably always will be! Tom, I hope this is enough to make you happy. Actually I suppose it doesn't really matter what I say, you'll probably complain about something anyway. Haha I'm just kidding. But if you think you're so great then what do you think that I think about these...

Chad Michael Murray
Josh Harnett
Elijah Wood
Jude Law
Joshua Jackson

I don't think you'll get all of those ones right. I still can't believe that you said George Clooney tut tut!

Oh, and Tom has come to visit. Yay for that too!!

Jamie's School Dinners

Over the last few weeks, I've been watching Jamie's School Dinners on a Tuesday night on channel 4. School dinners are absolutely disgusting in this country and really need to be changed. In the schools where they used better, fresher food, all the kids were better behaved and healthier, so I signed the petition on the Feed Me Better Campaign website, which will eventually go to the government to make them change it for the better everywhere. I think everybody should sign it. Sign it if you think it's important, sign it if you read my blog, hey whatever, just sign it even if you don't even care at all. I don't even care if you're not english!! Just do it! Pleeeaaasssee! Both me and Jess have signed it and we think you should too!!

Thankyou!!

When I signed it I was person number 54,689. Since then (i.e. since last night) the number has gone up to 77, 395!! Everyone has to do it!!!

I'm really not joking. Sign the petition here.

Sunshine.... at long last!!!

I got a heart shaped box of chocolates the other day. Yay. I haven't eaten them yet though. I'm looking forward to it. Thankyou Hughz!

The ducks had a very nice day today. It was very sunny and warm and so they had a bit of a sunbathe this morning. It seems that Mildred really isn't sure which guy to go for. One minute she was with Gelrald and the next she was with Bertie! It's just not acceptable! She needs to take her pick so that she can have some babies! She couldn't make her mind up last year, so there weren't any baby duckies for us to play with. Lets see how she gets on later...

Oh, and I've been made aware that some people have dared to try and rename the ducks. They are Mildred, Gerald and Bertie!!! Don't even think of naming Mildred 'Britney'!!!!

Hahaha!

This is hilarious! Poor thing! I guess I'll have to wait until next year to get my chocolate! hahahaha

On a slightly nicer but less funny note... Mildred and Gerald are back in town! But so is Mildred's other boyfriend.... oooh how exciting!! ... stay posted for the developing story of 'The Ducks'.

I'm back!

Ok, so you might not have even noticed that I've been gone, but I have! The internet here in college wasn't working all weekend, which was extremely annoying. Anyway... what's happened to me since I last posted....

Exam results...
I queued for 1 1/2 hours to get ehm because everyine kept pushing in at the front. Anyway, they went ok. My IT was really good and my business was okish. Everybodys coursework got marked down loads, so I'm going to be redoing it, which is a bit of a bum but I suppose I have to if I want a good grade! Not really looking forward to all of my resits in the summer. I can't believe I've paid a total of £120 for them. That's so annoying.

I don't think I have been up to anything else that's interesting, so I wont bore you with any more. Oh, by the way, I want to go and see Hotel Rwanda, so if anyone wants to then please let me know!

What My Little Pony are you?

So very bored...

This is amazing - I'm actually SO bored that I can't think of anything to write about on here today! I haven't had any lesson since this morning, so have basically had the day off... and have done nothing apart from watch a film and sat on my bum.

The only thing I do have to say is...

I love Hughz

hahaha, no really, I do!!! Yes, ok, I'll shut up now.

Can you believe, my mum actually thought that I wanted to call my children Melanie Nadine or Brooklyn Storm Harris (see post on Weds March 2nd) HAHAHA she's so silly. Just so you all know, that's where I get my silliness from!

p.s. Ally says that I have to say that I love her too. But it's only a 'you're my ex room mate so I have to' kind of love. I wouldn't even talk to her if I had the choice... haha You'll never guess what she just said to me

Ally: *smacks me on the arm* You smell *smacks me again* You smell *smacks me AGAIN* You smell, BUT YOU'RE SO PRETTY!! (with a massive smile on her face).

Me: umm, ok. You're so weird Ally.

Ally: Jade has worms.

Mel: What?

Me: *pulls a confused face*

Ally: Jade has worms!

Mel: errr. Ok.

Me (iside my head): she has actually gone insane... I'm quite scared.

Fire!! Fire!!

Today was pretty strange. Whoa! The fire alarm just went off again and scared the life out of me. Phew. Anyway, back to what I was saying before.... Had a normal Monday at College, the same old boring stuff, but tonight we had quite an exciting time! A fireman came into college to talk to us - you might think it would be really boring, but it was actually, whoa, there's the alarm again... SHUT UP!!!!... anyway... it was actually quite interesting. He talked to us for a bit and we watched a couple of short videos, which was ok. There was one which was quite funny actually. Basically, a kid chucked a lit piece of paper into an off licence so obviously it caught fire. The other customers completely ignored it, even though the fire was by the door! Eventually the shop assistant realised and tried to put it out but that didn't work so she ran away. A woman with 5 small children came in to watch (why?!?!? Stupid woman...) and another guy helped himself to a couple of bottles of drink before he ran out!!! None of them called the fire brigade and the fireman that spoke to us said that if they had been there a couple of minutes longer the whole thing would have been up in flames and they would all be dead. It might not sound that bad, but serously it was! i didn't realise that people could be so stupid!! It was so funny!!!

There was also a film of a place in Brazil where people were throwing them selves out of the windows which wasn't so nice...

But the real fun of the evening (actually the only fun, because the videos weren't exactly 'fun') was that we got to do that thing where you go into a smoky corridor and you have to find something and then get out. It was so much fun. I got competely disorientated at one point which wasn't so great, and we couldn't find what we were supposed to be looking for either, oopsie. Blame Hughz for that one. But it was great. I stupidly breathed through my mouth at the beginning, which was very silly cos that stuff is horrible when it gets in your throat. Then couldn't breathe at all for about 10 seconds. If you actually think about it, doing that kind of thing is actually quite pointless, because if it was a real fire, and the smoke was that thick, a couple of breaths of it and you'd be dead anyway - you wouldn't even make it to the door to get out!!! But I suppose it is kinda good, because it frightens you into thinking about what you would actually do in a fire.

Also in the news today...
I am SO unfit. I ran to get a football this evening (i.e. running for a total of about 10-15 seconds, quite fast) and I was out of breath. That really isn't good, is it? I should do some more exercise. I know I need my inhaler when I do stuff sometimes, but that really is no excuse. If you have any good ideas of what I can do to get fit, then leave a comment. (Just remember that I'm lazy and may need to be forced into it...) I can tell, and I'm only 17 now, that I'm going to need a hip replacement, and that I'm going to die before I'm 60. Well, at the rate I'm going I will anyway. Hmmm.

Well it was a good day, until...

Well how great. The boiler has broken, which means that we'll all have cold showers and no heating. If I make it through the night without dying or getting frost bite, then I'll be quite surprised. This happened once before, and I seem to remember it taking them ages to actually do anything about it. Oh bum.

I spoke to my mum on the phone today (well obviously - it's mothers day!!) and the basic result of the comversation was that I have to plan the whole of my life from here until september, in detail! I have to sort out getting to Yorkshire at easter, where to go at half term, and if I go home, what flights do I need? andthen about going to christiana's in the summer - do i go at the beginning with Gemma and go to the ball, or do I stay in Winchester and get a job and possibly learn to drive, and then go to Leeds later on? Do I follow christiana's plans of going to Cornwall, or London? Do I stay in Yorkshire for my birthday and celebrate with friends from school/alc or do I go home and see my family? If I go home, how long do I go home for? When do I go to Sheffield? How am I supposed to get my stuff there? How do I get there?!? AARRRGGHHHH I'M GOING INSANE JUST THINKING ABOUT IT! I also get my exam results on Thursday, which makes my life that little bit worse. Oh joy. Hopefully, they'll be ok...

Feeling good

I gave away the £5 that I found on the floor the other day today. And you know what? It felt good!

I also just tightened up my bracelet with my teeth and got a rather lovely mouthful of perfume. It did actually taste quite good. haha mmmmmmmmm

And, for anyone that may be interested... here's how much buckley sold for on ebay!!!! hahaha, well his phone number anyway. I can't believe some random person actually paid for it. haha. That's so hilarious.

Feeling bored??

I found this amazing website, where you can create your own superhero. I made a couple this afternoon because i was bored and it's actually a pretty good time waster! I couldn't help myself - I made an elf too... hehe. Have fun with it! I did!

Somebody, somewhere loves me......

It's not that I've had a fantastically amazing day, but 5 different things made today special.

1. I found £5 on the floor, which means that this evening I made £15 for half an hour of work.

2. It snowed last night and was still snowing when I got up.

3. It's Friday!! Weekend!!!

4. After not eating from the college canteen on monday and Jennie giving me one of her lunch tickets that she didn't want, I had 3 lunch tickets to spend today. I haven't even eaten all of what I got yet, but I'm really looking forward to it. Everyone knows how much I like chocolate and sweets, so I should be happy this weekend!! (should be good for my fat diet too!)

5. As I was walking back to the house just now, a little Robin flew off a tree and crossed in front of me. I love Robins, it doesn't matter what I'm doing or how I'm feeling, if I see a cute little red Robin, it'll make me happy.

They might not sound like much to you, but they made me feel good!

Enya

This is the nicest thing I've heard for quite a long time. It's so peaceful, it makes me want to fall asleep, smile and cry all at the same time. Just load the page and wait for the music to load, it should only take a second. It's called Watermark, and is by Enya.

China Roses

Who can tell me if we have heaven,
Who can say the way it should be;
Moonlight holly, the Sappho Comet,
Angel's tears below a tree.

You talk of the break of morning
As you view the new aurora,
Cloud in crimson, the key of heaven,
One love carved in acajou.

One told me of China Roses,
One a thousand nights and one night,
Earth's last picture, the end of evening
Hue of indigo and blue.

A new moon leads me to
Woods of dreams and I follow.
A new world waits for me;
My dream, my way.

I know that if I have heaven
There is nothing to desire.
Rain and river, a world of wonder
May be paradise to me.

I see the sun.
I see the stars.

Go Belinda!

Well done to Belinda who had the patience for finding and writing down everyones hobbit, elvish and smurf name from our house. Here's another one:

Name your chav baby!!

If I have a chav baby girl it would be: Melanie Nadine Harris
and a boy would be: Brooklyn Storm Harris

Hahaha, that's just so funny.

Tell me what you got...

Also, go here and you can dress your very own chav! haha

My Friends. Part 2 - College

During half term I wrote a post about some of my friends from school. Today's installment is all about my friend here (Peter Symonds College, Winchester just incase you didn't know). I started here in September 2003 after leaving Woodhouse Grove School which is inbetween Leeds and Bradford. Since then, I have made a lot of great friends.
Go to http://spaces.msn.com/members/bumungo/ to see lots of lovely pictures from the last 2 years here... I'm gonna put some more on there some time soon.

Wow, where do I start??? hmm...

My year:

Jade: She is very small but makes up for it in craziness. She lives in the Falkland Islands, which probably explains a lot of it. hehehe. She is also one of my mungos (she's jadamungo and I'm bumungo). She loves manchester united and Churchill. Bruises very easily. She's always lots and lots of fun and once drew a man eating chicken at school. She was also a cabbage patch kid.

Jess: aka Squirrel. But I think she looks like a fairy, or possibly an elf (like me yay). She likes pretty clothes and jewellery and makes me think of the colour pink. she also like Manchester United, but is possibly more passionate about Stargate. She is also small, which makes me feel good. Jess is wonderful. We are both going to the same uni to do the same course. Yippee!

Amy: She's tiny too! And very pale! AND SCOTTISH!!!! Which makes her great, naturally. She has been renamed Edie MacReady like the woman from Balamory. Did you know, the housekeeper in the lion, the witch and the wardrobe is called edie macready too? No? Well you do now!! WOW! Amy is Alex's girlfriend and also lives in the Falklands. She runs really weirdly, but is still great. For some reason Hughz hates her.

Ally: Well, where so I start?? We were room mates last year, and we always got on really well and were nice to each other. But, for some reason, now, we always bully each other (see previous post). She's great though. If she's talking, there's a 99% chance that it's about music or films. And as for the other 1%, complete and utter rubbish. haha no I'm just kidding. Everytime I see Johnny Depp (not literally, obviously) in my life I'll think of her!

Alex: He is the biggest genious I think I've ever met. Specialising in maths, computers and of course Amy. Aww. He lives in Cyprus, but for some unknown, crazy reason, he's going to the Falklands at Easter. Good luck Alex. Make sure Ally points out all her ex boyfriends for you. Mwahaha. Not many people know this, but he is secretly in love with me.

Hughz: My other mungo! He's great. He loves me lots and lots. He also beats up Jade ALL the time. He likes Basketball but has hurt his leg. He also likes cheese I think, but is allergic to tomatoes. (I think...) He lives in Germany YAY. I don't know why he hates Amy, but he's always horrible to her.

Johnny: He will always be known for taking his clothes off and making everyone very scared. He's great though - my codeword buddy!! There are no words to describe his personality, there really aren't. Hahaha

Kimmy: Kimmy is great. The kind of person who is always really nice. she let me play transport tycoon loads on her computer, which made me love her even more. She is also one og my codeword buddies - todays was particularly difficult I thought. Haha I'm such a loser...

Michael: He's really fun to bully. Hmmm just like David Harder at school, apart from I don't think I've ever really hurt Michael. Mind you, there's still 4 months left until we leave! I sit next to Michael in business, he annoys me the whole time, and I annoy him back. It's great. He likes Liverpool and, oh, by the way, how's Claire? HAHAHAHA I LOVE YOU!!!!!!! And DON'T YOU DARE THROW ROCKS AT ME OR MY BEDROOM WINCOW AGAIN OR I'LL SNITCH.

Phil: He's great. Was always really nice and loved to call me arse instead of bum for some reason. His room always smelt like weed, even though it wasn't his fault. He is extremely tall and has long hair to go with it. Why did he have to leave?!?!?

Upper sixth:

Tom: Very lazy, but also brilliant at the same time. He was also disgusting, but nevermind. He used to always wear a cap and drink the milkshakes from the canteen. He is a vegetarian and supports Wolves. He has the coolest last name ever (silvani) but also lives in the most boring place ever (detmold) and next to the brooks!!! HAHAHA. We always manage to disagree on something, but I don't care because he still makes me smile. He needs a haircut and a shave and most probably a shower. He's great though!!

Christian: Well, that's an interesting one. He only ever has one thing on his mind. He lives in the Falklands too, and tut tut Christian, apparently has an even bigger belly now than when he was at college.

Simon: Wow, there's one crazy boy. He's the lead singer of Calpol, love the thundercats and narnia and is known for making strange animal noises. He has big muscles and is very, very funny. He spent the whole of last year trying to make me fat. I'm getting there!!!! I promise!

Pikey: He couldn't spell his own name and was constantly arguing with tom. But he's a really nice guy and I miss him!

Lower Sixth:

Rob: aka PJ (pikey junior - for the obvious reason) He's very energetic and is always messing around. He's funny, as in funny 'HAHA' and funny 'I'm insane'.

Jack: He is the Silvani mini-me. Actually, he's not 'mini' because he's really tall! He likes beating up Jade and is also a liar, even though he would never admit it. Haha.

Ollie: I love Ollie!! He's wonderful. That's all there is to say!

Belinda: She's really nice. I decided that I liked her when she came to the taster day, and I didn't even know her. She 's really cool and likes playing GTA, which is great cos I do too!!

Jon: He also like GTA and addresses me as Queen Beaky, which is the main reason for him being allowed on this list. Nah, I'm just kidding, he's really funny!

Well, that's all I can be bothered to write for today. If you've actually read this far then well done! I'm proud of you!! If i was you and was reading this I would have probably stopped after the first paragraph. Oh well.
