Thankyou God for Milk

I love milk.

Love it.

Love it.

Love it.

That's why I drank a whole litre of it before I left the house this morning,

And that's why I say thankyou God for milk.

*sigh*

The joys of spending your evening in the library with your friends 'working' (aka wasting time being silly while trying to work). We aren't geeks really, we just don't want to go out in the cold...

Actually, yes we are geeks. Me and Faye are going home to play 'Newcastle' monopoly now... hmmm...

OH YEAH!!

IT SNOWED TODAY!!!

YIPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

How exciting.

Oh dear. Now all my uni friends are reading my blog... Maybe I should delete a few things. Argh!

And yes Joel, ok, now I know there are some mistakes. So shoot me.

Some people...

Some people take christmas

Way.

Too.

Far.

But this is still great. Click here to watch it. Seriously.

You need sound with it, just so you know.

Who is it?

There's someone from Germany, that isn't a member of my family, that keep reading my blog. I really want to know who it is.

Hmmm

Feel like I'm spying on you?

Why do I even bother??

I came all the way to the library to do this, and they haven't even bothered to send me what they were supposed to. They don't seem to care that we only have 2 weeks to do 3 3000 word essays and presentations to go along with them. To be honest, what they were supposed to do wasn't even that difficult, so why do I feel like they haven't done anything and I've done nearly everything? Fair enough, Matt's done work, Jess has done work, they're fine, but what have the others done? Absolutely nothing, that's what. I can't even be bothered to do it now.

I'm so glad Jess is in my group, otherwise I'd go insane, I really would.

Actually, can someone still shoot me anyway? It's be much appreciated.

I think the reason that I'm getting so stressed is because I know I still have loads of stupid french to do to.

Problem

I have no motivation. I don't want to do anything. Anything. Apart from sit and do nothing. I don't want to do any work. Especially french. I really enjoyed it at A Level, but to be honest, what I'm doing now is just boring. Boring boring boring. I don't ever want to go again. Well, I guess I'll have to next week. If I manage to get some remotely decent work done this week then I can give it to her then I guess. But then that means sitting there for 2 hours doing nothing. You know, i really don't know what happens in those 2 hours that we have a lesson, because we sure aren't learning any french! I think I'm going backwards and getting worse at it. It doen't make sense.

As much as I want to be really good at french, I don't think I'm going to be able to choose it as an option next year. If I do, I might end up killing myself.

I'm being serious.

I couldn't resist

hehe I love this photo. Yes, I know it's of myself.... get over it.

Once again.... a marvellous weekend!

This weekend saw an amazing thing....... Michael turned into an old man!! haha. It was his 19th birthday and we all made our way to Nottingham to celebrate. It turned out to be quite an expensive weekend, but it was all worth it - because I got to see all my wonderful best friends!

I can't be bothered to go through all the details of the weekend, just take my word for it, it was great weekend. Definitely worth having to share 1 hotel room/bed with absolutely everyone and still only managing 3 hours sleep!

Here's a few photos for you.....
(guys if there isn't a picture of you here dont feel left out - the files are massive and it's only letting me put this many on. I'll put some more on sometime later!)

The dream

Over the weekend away, Isaac had a dream....

.......

His housemate Joel came down the stairs in floods of tears. But it was becuase he was so happy. It was the best day of his life!

'What's happened Joel?!' cried Isaac.

*Still crying like a girl*
'***** has proposed to me!' answered Joel.

'GASP!'
..........

The thing is, for Isaac refused to tell anyone who the mystery girl was that proposed to Joel. He has also been hinting different things (he obviously has never heard of 'being subtle', it's ridiculous, it really is) and he's making everything quite silly.

But now (have you guessed yet??) I know for definite it was me. I found it absolutely hilarious when dan told me. Thing is, I don't think that either Isaac or Joel know that I know that it was me in the dream...

... I can feel some serious mind games coming on. hehehe. I could have so much fun with this....

We Rocked Again!

Last night we all went to a laser quest thing, and once again, the team with the awesome Debubblers in came through and won by a mile! Woo Hoo! We played 2 games and beat the other team by about 900 points both times. That's how amazing we were. Well, when I say we, I actually meant the rest of my team. I'm not going to tell you how bad my score was, but I'll just tell you that it would have been quite respectable if Luke hadn't shot me 15 times in one game (my own team member! How could he do that to me?!). I found it quite funny that the comment on my score sheet at the end of it read:

'Like a lamb to the slaughter'.

It's funny because it's so true.

Sad, isn't it?

A Quote

I've just had a 2 hour International Business seminar. In the last part of our seminar we had a mini competition to see who could come up with the best product or service (that could make £5 million in 2 years) and Joe, in our group, came up with the silliest thing I have ever heard. It made us laugh so much at the time, because he was being deadly serious.....

'I know! We could invent some kind of drug to make people grow! Then sell them to, you know, dwarves and chinese people and stuff. It's a massive market. Just think about it!'

Hmmm.... I don't think so Joe!

The Best Weekend Ever!

Again guys, I'm sorry about not posting that often, but this time I have a real reason!!

I had the best weekend that I've had ina very long time. It was packed with fun.

We went on the cu weekend away to Matlby (which isn't the nicest place in the world, but it didn't matter because we were inside quite a lot of the time and there were about 30 of us so there was never a dull moment!). Apart from the obvious serious bits of the weekend (which were still good!) we played loads of crazy games, which I, being the silliest person and biggest lover of silly games in the universe, rocked at. We were all split into teams - I was in the 'Debubblers' (the name kind of evolved after a 20 minute conversation while we were washing up about why we think it's important to rinse i.e. debubble the dishes after you've washed them (see, we do make sense really)) and we won nearly everything. Because of the 'Saturday Challenge'(which involved fitting the whole team in a phone box, buying the longest thing we could find for £1 and getting as many random strangers in a photo as possible) the other teams caught up quite a bit, but thanks to:

- our awesome team skills at building a tower out of spagetti and marshmellows which could support a tennis ball
- me eating the biggest block of cheese you've EVER seen, without being sick afterwards!Woo Hoo!
- Adrian's skills at 'Guess what Baby Has Been Eating' ie eating poo out of nappies (don't worry, it was chocolate, but still looked very real. Ew it was gross)
- Our balloon wars hiding skills
- Joels amazing long arms which came in very handy in the Wotsit challenge
- Our overall complete awesomeness.

Oh yeah, did I say we were awesome??? No?? Oh, well just so you know......
WE WERE AWESOME!

Not doing very well, am I?

Considering this is supposed to be 'the story of my life', I'm not doing very well at keeping you posted at the moment. Ok, so, without wanting to sound too boring (because even though I'm living in a completely new place with (almost) completely new friends, I've not actually been doing that much. Quite disgraceful really.

I'm enjoying my course at uni - had my first presentation this morning (which, of course we absolutely ruled at. Everyone elses sucked SO MUCH but we made sure ours was awesome, even though 2 members of our group couldn't be bothered i.e. were too hungover to attend the metting we had yesterday to finish it off and practise. Oh well, we'll just have to make sure that they do all the work for the next one. Actually, no, not all, because then it would be rubbish. Complete and utter pants, to be exact.

Anyhoo.... pretyt much all I've been doing is sitting up to rediculous hours of the morning watching films and generally being silly (as you can see, there's nothing unusual there)

Hmm for some reason my keyboard is doing very strange things so I might leave it at that for now. Eh?? what is going on with this thing??

....The only thing I have left to say is

My parents came over to england last week and I let my mum borrow my Mansfield Park DVD AND I FORGOT TO BRING IT BACK TO SHEFFIELD WITH ME SO I THINK I'M GONNA BE WITHOUT IT UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Whatever shall I do?
